Catskill Hemp
A hemp grower selling a serious product in packaging that looked like a head shop.
Catskill Hemp farms in Delaware County and sells oil, seed and fiber. Every competitor uses green, leaves and a font from 1997.
What we did
No leaf. The packaging is uncoated board, one ink, and a field-record typography system that prints the harvest year and the plot number on every box.
The campaign photographed the farm, not the product. It won a D&AD Wood Pencil, which the client cares about less than the retail listing it opened.
